Jamaat-e-Islami referendum 95% say no to K-LB in Buner F.P. Report
BUNER: The inhabitants of the district have said big "NO" to Karry-Luggar Bill here when 18895 out of 19447 cost their vote against the bill that stands 95% while 371 cost their vote in its favour. The district Amir of the Jammat-Mohammad Hanif while announcing the result at Markazi Islami in Swari told media men that 100 polling stations were set up in parts of the district. He added that 25000 ballot papers were distributed among locals to vote either in favour or against the Bill. The district Amir of the Jamaat went on to say that large number of locals rejected the Bill proved that acceptance of the Bill by the rulers would be against the wishes of fellow countrymen. District Amir of the Jammat-Mohammad Hanif while commenting noted that it was vote of no confidence over the foreign policy of the government adding it has been proved that the Bill is against the interests of the state and the citizen would never accept it. He elaborated that the nation is bent upon to stand on its feet and follow the policy of self-reliance. He hoped the rulers would respect the verdict given by masses. Han if further said that America is bent upon to strengthen its hold in Pakistan politically and economically when its desires never reported positve. District Amir of the Jammat-Mohammad Hanif expressed concern over increasing threats to sensitive installation when Blake Water entered in our motherland. He linked attacks at Islamabad, Lahore and recent attack on army high up a well-hatched conspiracy of the enemies to destabilize our country. He accused American sponsored allied forces hands in glove with neighbouring countries when it removed its forces from border with Balochistan to give them chance of crossing over the boarder for sabotage activities inside Pakistan. Naib Amir Ghulam Mustaffa Advocate while appreciating the locals for its decision against the Bill added actually nothing would be given to our country as America had planed to send its consultants with pregnant salaries and facilities to swallow up huge portion of the funds. District Amir of the Jammat-Mohammad Hanif calculated that mother land have so far been lost 35 Arab during war against terrorism while the citizens have lost precious lives in thousands and worthy properties of billions. On the occasion large number of party activists and leaders including Basher Khan of Kalpani and Hazrat Mehmood of Channar, Mohammad Haleem of Pacha and Zarfaroosh Khan of Shalbandi were present to monitor the electoral process.
