Damage assessment survey starts in Buner Staff Report
PESHAWAR: The damage assessment of houses in Buner district of NWFP will start
from January 25. The survey aims at providing temporary shelter homes and compensation to the affected people, said a release
issued here on Saturday.
Six teams have been constituted in all the six tehsils comprising 27 union councils.
PDMA/PaRRSA has made arrangements for the survey and each survey team will consist of an official of Pakistan
army, a patwari, union council secretary and two or three notables of the respective area.
The survey teams will
visit door to door to collect data. It is necessary for owners of the affected houses to present their identity cards before
the survey team and a copy of the ID card would also be attached to the survey form.
The survey would be carried
out till February 20 while complaints could be registered for the next 15 days with district steering committee on prescribed
form available for free from district coordination officer (DCO) Buner office.
