Tehsil Council Daggar first meeting held

Buner: The tehsil council Daggar here on Thursday held first its meeting in chair of convener-Habibullah Khan where in the tehsil Nazim-Sher Zaman Khan, members of the council, heads of line departments and media men participated.
The house condemned Bajaur incident, offered fatiha for the departed souls both of Bajaur incident and earthquake besides offering fatiha for the departed soul of the ANP Rehbar-Khan Abdul Wali Khan.
The tehsil Nazim in his detail speech very frankly informed the members that the council had an estimated revenue RS: 10 millions while its expenditures are 10.4 millions per year adding the 4 lakhs are arranged from the grants that is not more the 3 million a year. He tried to convince the members that plans would be masterminded to generate extra revenue from different sources like holding special bazaars and establishing more vehicles stands. He hoped that the honourable members would help him in minimizing the expenditures and generation revenue to develop the tehsil council.
The Nazim favoured shift of the tehsil council for that he had already contacted provincial government through speaker assembly to construct official building and efforts are under way to shift it to reasonable place.
Abdul Latif Khan, Zahir Zada Khattak, Shed Ahmed Shah, Mohammad Arshad, Shah Wazir, Umer Shaid, sherzada, Bakht Rooz Khan, Amir Nawab and many more took part in the discussion.
They complained our of work telephone line, slow pas of construction work on roads, sanitation, potable water, electricity and education with suggestions of collecting data for next session to discuss in detail and find its solution.
The convener in his ruling directed all of the members to submit their questions for next session in the secretariat and also directed the secretariat to ask the departmental heads for early reply and make sure their presence in the next session. He announced end of the day session for an indefinite period.
