Buner: A huge protest demonstration was held here on Friday in order to protest the blasphemous cartoons published in newspapers of Denmark and other European countries.
Meanwhile, Imams of different mousuqes particularly of the Jamia masjid darbar Pir Baba also restricted Friday sermon to the issue, flaying the cartoons and demanded of the Muslims to be united on such issues.
The protestors were holding placards inscribed with slogans of different natures and chanting full-throated slogans against the responsible.
The protest later on turned into a mammoth gathering close to the area police station.
Wherein the Ishaat-ul-Wahid central leader of youth wing Misbahudeen, ANP general secretary-Syed Laiq Bacha, Shabab Milli provincial chief Abdul Ghaffar, Maulana Iqbal Hussain, Maulana Hazrat Hussain, Maulana Fazal Wahab and Mualana Mohammad Jamal bitterly criticized the West for publishing blasphemous cartoons and termed it part of well hatched conspiracy against Islam.
The speakers also criticized the heads of Muslim countries that according to them were taken mums over such like frequent incidents and demanded an action like end to diplomatic relations with the counties involved.
They also demanded a joint action by the Muslim countries and urged upon Muslims all over the world to by-cot the products of West.
The speakers wished if the Pakistani rulers realized the nefarious designs of the West and impose ban on the organizations working for it.
The participants of the demo through a resolution demanded of the government to forthwith release the detained chief of the TNSM-Maulana Sufix Mohammad whose sole sin was nothing else but love to Islam. |
